Retreat Leader, ECYT-800 certified yoga teacher, colon hydrotherapist, Health and Wellness coach, licensed Massage Therapist LMT-700, Empress Thandi is the founder of Wise Wellness – Yoga Centre and Health Food Store in the Parish of St. Elizabeth , Treasure Beach, JAMAICA, where she teaches holistic lifestyle,, and still finds time to co- host wellness and yoga retreats! Her work has gained international recognition and featured in Vouge Brazil 2019 and Condè Nest Traveler May 2021.
Growing up in Jamaica she studied with her grandmother, in White Horses, St Thomas Jamaica where she first learned Ancestral Wisdom and herbology! Her grandmother and her father were known in the community as the “Bush Doctors”.
After some time living and studying in the US, Empress Thandi moved back to her HOME of Jamaica to share her passion for ancestral wisdom and organic farming, with the intention of having an impact in the wellness tourism sector both in her home country and globally. Moving back to St. Elizabeth is home of her Mother Queen Ma Diddi who is a full blooded Maroon and still farms using organic practices that honors the land.
Her mission is to help all beings activate their natural and innate wisdom to heal and balance the mind, body, and spirit using Ancestral Wisdom and natural modalities.
